We envision a world where Hindi is recognized as a valuable, global language and actively used as a working language in public and private organizations, including the United Nations.
Our Mission:
The Foundation was established in the year 2000. We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary of successfully promoting Hindi language and culture through academic support, community engagement, and a vibrant cultural convention.

Yes, we offer the WHF Founders’ Scholarship for college students. This scholarship is awarded to college students who have been actively engaged—or are willing to be engaged—in the promotion and advancement of the Hindi language in the United States. Application details and forms are available for download on our website.
We host a Semi Annual Convention that serves as a vibrant celebration of Hindi language, culture, and community. Our conventions typically feature cultural programs, spectacular traditional dance performances, thought-provoking Hindi plays, and a Kavi Sammelan (poetry gathering) featuring renowned poets.
