WHF 10th Annual Convention (Aug 20 - Aug 22, 2010) in Chicago, IL

World Hindi Foundation, Inc. (WHF) will be holding its 10th annual convention from August 20 to August 22, 2010, in Chicago, IL. Further details of the program are being developed and will become available starting May, 2010 at the foundation’s Chicago chapter website www.whfchicago.com.

Preliminary plans for the three- day-weekend extravaganza include celebrations and events such as cultural programs, Kavi Sammelan (poetry readings), on site Hindi classes, music and dance, literary discussions, children’s performances, Hindi workshops, discussions on the progress in enrichment of Hindi and its usability and availability to the common person interested in learning an ancient and vivid language, and digitization of Hindi literature and scriptures.
